Edmodo

Ay fellas, hope you all are doing fine during these cancerous sunny days. I am here with another platform for online learning. It should be pretty familiar to you since you might have heard this like 20 times before. Of course it is Edmodo!

Edmodo is basically like the facebook version of google classroom in my opinion. You are gonna relate to me well when you see its interface:

That's our edmodo class from last year's listening & pronunciation class. As you can see, the interface is pretty much from facebook. I also find this an alternative for google classroom. You can do many of the things in google classroom here too. These options include:

-assignments, assessments

-creating a group, poll

-creating projects etc

-commenting on posts

However, unlike google classroom; edmodo is more socialized when compoared to it. That is, it is a bit more interactive.

Some benefits of this platform include:

-it's secured and simple to use

-network that connects parents students and teachers together

-ease of communication & interaction

Yet, it has a drawback too. As my lecturer said in class, it can be better with more recommended ideas, people and connections.

I think that's it for edmodo. I cant really find anything much to say since it is a pretty standard and usual web 2.0 tool.
